Heck Yes!!!!!

Worlds of Fun was amazing.  It doesn't get much better than that.  Trent and I walked around all night with Lauren, Alex, Becca, and Sara.  It was so much fun.  We even did the rip chord.  All night was fun and funny.

Only 1/2 day of school left.

Random thing of the day:
For every action there is an equal and opposite government program.
- Bob Wells

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 18:15
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise, seek it out.

Manejo y Manejo
I didn't do much but drive this weekend.  I went to my grandma's house to have a get-together with some of my relatives that live in Indiana.  After I had a chance to talk with them, my uncle asked me if I wanted to go out driving.  So...since I had driven once before...I said, "Heck Yes!"  He said, "Cool," let's go work on parking.  So we went out to Prairie View Elementary, and he taught me how to parallel park.  It was much fun.  Then, today, I got to drive around wherever I wanted to in my grandma's car.

So i can now drive: SUVs, Minivans, and Jeeps

Thing of the Day:
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Rick the computer guy, to come over. Rick clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?" He replied, "It was an ID ten T error.." (Sure Sounds Like Me ! ! ) I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired: "An ID ten T error? What's that ... in case I need to fix it again?" The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?" "No," I replied. "Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out." So I wrote out ...... I D 1 0 T

Verse of the Day: Psalm 116:1-2
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.  Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.

I feel weird.
This morning I woke up and felt like complete crap.  And the whole day just kinda dragged on.  The only upsides were the 2nd half of Bio and gym.  Bio is a crazy class.  Ashley knows what i'm talking about.  Gym class was cool cause we played Roulf Ball.  I was on a team with 2 really cool juniors, we killed.  Oh, I have this thing on Saturday for Jazz band, but Nick has decided for me that I am not going.  He's just so persuasive I couldn't refuse.

Things of the Day:
If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in the dark with a mosquito.

Shin: Device for finding furniture in the dark

Verse of the Day: Psalm 27:13-14
I am still confident in this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Wait for the Lord:
Be strong and take heart,
and wait for the Lord.

Weekends are so cool, espcially when you spend them with friends.  I went to Zac's last night, beat Halo 1 on co-op, played versus in Halo 2, ate our weight in candy bars, and just messed around the rest of the night.  Then, today, I went and hung out with Nina and her sister Sarah.  We were supposed to be selling bracelets for Cystic Fibrosis, but half the time, we just played around and wandered through Hy-Vee.  But seriously, we need your support to find a cure for CF, so if you could, come buy a bracelet for Nina's sister.  They're 4 dollars and you can give the money to Nina or me.

Have a good weekend.

Thing of the Day:
Isn't it weird that all year round your parents tell you not to play with fire, but on Independence Day they hand you a package of explosives, a lighter, and say have fun?

Verse of the Day: Psalm 68:19-20
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.  Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.
